🏅 Accreditation Under ISO/IEC 17065

METCAB is not yet accredited under ISO/IEC 17065 — the international standard for product certification bodies. 

Our ISO/IEC 17065 accreditation application covers and ongoing for the following directives and regulations:

• Measuring Instruments Directive (MID) 2014/32/EU
• Non-Automatic Weighing Instruments Directive (NAWID) 2014/31/EU
• Construction Products Regulation (CPR) 305/2011/EU

This accreditation will ensure that METCAB operates with the highest standards of integrity and technical competence, providing clients with confidence that their products comply with applicable European regulations.

🌍 Designation as a Notified Body

METCAB is not yet designated as a Notified Body but our application to be a notified body under:

• Measuring Instruments Directive (MID) 2014/32/EU — ensuring compliance for various types of measuring instruments used in industrial and commercial applications.
• Non-Automatic Weighing Instruments Directive (NAWID) 2014/31/EU — covering a wide range of weighing instruments used in different sectors, ensuring conformity with European standards.
• Construction Products Regulation (CPR) 305/2011/EU — providing certification services for construction products, including cables, ensuring compliance with fire safety and performance requirements.

Our Notified Body status will allow us to issue CE certificates that are recognized across the European Union, ensuring that your products can access the European market without additional barriers.
